Great piece. And great timing.

I’ve been on Medium for a while, but about 20 days (goal of making it 30 in a row) started writing every day to see what would transpire. My main reason for writing was that it felt therapeutic. I’ve mostly just been writing about things that are on my mind.

I have cofounded a couple businesses in South Bend, IN. A rust belt city that once thrived as a manufacturing town but is now finding roots in entrepreneurial ventures and technology.

As I’ve been writing I have found that there is some internal pressure to try to cover certain topics or write certain things, but I always end up writing what I am thinking because, well, I know it.

Anyway, this article is a nice takeaway as I am on day 20 of this self challenge and I’ve definitely had a number of days where I think to myself, “What the hell am I doing?”

Thanks for being vulnerable and sharing your thoughts!
